Beauty Companies That Are Giving Back to Japan
In the wake of the massive earthquake and tsunami, many beauty companies are lending a hand by donating a portion of their proceeds to help the people of Japan.
Here are a few that we've heard of so far. If you know of any, please share them with us on this message board thread and help us spread the word.
John Masters Organics is donating 100 percent of all online orders through the end of March to the Japanese non-profit Civic Force.
Tatcha Blotting Papers are also donating proceeds to help the people of Japan. All profits from now through the end of March will benefit the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund.
emerginC is donating 20 percent of the proceeds from their Red Carpet Primer to Global Giving who supports organizations that are providing relief and aid to the victims in Japan.
Shobha Hair Removal Lotion is also donating 100 percent of their proceeds to Habitat for Humanity.

Funds are definitely great and needed, but I hope they are also donating their products as well. Especially the largest personal care products company in the world: Procter & Gamble. Those people have lost everything, and I'm sure they'd see stuff like shampoo & deodorant as luxuries whereas before they were such "mundane" things. Diapers & feminine products are essential too.
Cosmetics would be true luxuries, a bit of fragrance or a lipstick could give a "lift" to those women too.

This is a GREAT thread! Lush is currently raising funds with the sale of their Charity Pot (Japan) hand cream and their new Rising Sun Soap. Lush is a great company with awesome products, and I love that they're helping out!
