Meijer brand Scar Gel / Treatment

Hello Everyone,

I recently discovered that Meijer stores offer a 1.76oz Scar Gel with similar active ingredient to Mederma, for under $12!

For those outside the Great Lakes regions( I'm guessing most of you), here are some other store brand scar products you may find near you:

Walgreens Scar Gel is only $19, and those nice weekly sales often lower the price even more.

CVS Scar Gel is about $21, compare to 32 dollar average for the aforementioned national brand.

So if you are struggling to deal with recent scars, there are store deals to help you out. 

Further Tips:

• Also wear sunscreen as sun damage will make scars more obvious.
• Moisturize and cover new scars; it may mean the healing process is not over. I recommend waterproof, hydrocolloid bandages.
  
• Itching, boredom, nerves, and frustration are understandable, but do not pick at your wounds. (Analgesic creams, nail clipping and Koosh balls help relieve this urge.)
