Are we Shaving? or Are we Waxing the Bikini Area?

For the record I personally wax the entire area, I cannot stand hair, I also wax underarms, upperlip anything I possibly can!!! I have extremely fair skin, and anal retentive. So when I would shave the bikini area and I mean the entire area (and in some areas of the business we call it The HollyWood! LOL!!!) I would really mess myself up...We are talking layers of skin off. Not good... I prefer feeling sexy for myself first and everything I do is always for myself!
So as Women, are we Shaving,Waxing, or going old school style and letting it grow?

Up until now I've always shaven all of that area. but, I just started school for Esthetics, and we just hit waxing. And, I've already had my lip done, my arms done, and my legs done. And, I absolutely love it! So, i think I'm going to brave it out, let all my hair grow down there, get one of my school mates to wax my bikini area, and then go to a salon to get a brazillian done. (We're not doing it in our school even though it's under our license, she told us she will teach it to us, but we won't be doing it under her supervision.) I think it's better to wax anyways, as shaving puts you at risk of nicks and cuts that could result in infection. And, I don't know about you.. But, I'd like to avoid any kind of risk for infection down near my woman parts. PLUS not having to shave for a few weeks? Nothing sounds better than that!

Waxing down there is good for those who can take the pain and are not sensitive there. It can result in blood veins breakage and ingrown hair so perhaps shaving is a good alternative. The bad thing with shaving is that it can irritate the skin and the hair grows fast. Creams are a similar story to shaving, so what is left?
